Stigmata is a generous and lively overview of Jan Fabre's work. It is not intended as a regular museal exhibition, but rather as a documentary overview of his performances. The exhibition presents instruments, props and all sorts of remnants of these performances on a sea of glass tables. The combination of the documentary aspect of Stigmata, together with the clear references to religious iconography in the work, proved to be solid inspiration for the design of the exhibition identity.
